Pretreatment includes manual simple process and automatic pretreatment process, the latter is divided into automatic spraying and automatic immersion spraying. The surface of the workpiece must be treated before dust removal to remove oil and rust. There are many chemicals used in this section, mainly including rust remover, oil remover, surface conditioner, phosphating agent, etc.


In the pretreatment section or workshop of the coating production line, the first thing to pay attention to is to develop the necessary strong acid and alkali procurement, transportation, storage and use systems, to provide workers with the necessary protective clothing, safe and reliable clothing, handling and equipment configuration, and to develop accident emergency treatment measures and rescue measures. Secondly, in the pretreatment section of the coating production line, due to the existence of a certain amount of waste gas, liquid waste and other wastes, in terms of environmental protection measures, it is necessary to be equipped with pumping exhaust, liquid discharge and waste treatment devices.


Due to the difference in the pretreatment fluid and the coating production line process, the quality of the pretreatment workpiece should be different. For well-treated workpieces, surface oil and rust are completely removed. In order to prevent re-rusting in a short period of time, phosphating or passivation treatment should be carried out in several processes after pretreatment: the phosphating workpiece should also be dried before dust removal to remove surface moisture. Small batch single production, generally using natural air drying, sun drying and air drying. For large-scale flow operations, low temperature drying is generally used, and ovens or drying tunnels are used.

It is necessary to ensure that the powder coating of the workpiece to be sprayed is uniform and uniform in thickness to prevent defects such as thin spraying, missing spraying and rubbing.


During the introduction of the coating production line, attention should also be paid to the hook part of the workpiece. Before entering the curing process, the powder attached to the hook should be blown off as much as possible to prevent excess powder on the hook from curing. In some cases, when it is difficult to remove the residual powder before curing, the cured powder film on the hook should be stripped in time to ensure that the hook has good electrical conductivity, so as to facilitate the powder coating of the next batch of workpiece.
